Join us Saturday, October 17, for a relaxed fall drive to Starved Rock State Park.
This collaborative chapter tour is all about enjoying great roads, beautiful fall colors, good food, and even better company. Bring your BMW, bring a friend, and come enjoy a day with fellow enthusiasts.
We’ll offer two convenient starting locations, one in Chicago and one in Joliet. Full meeting details and addresses will be provided in your confirmation.

Group 1: Chicago
Depart Chicago: 8:45 AM
Group 2: Joliet
Meetup: 9:30 AM
Depart Joliet: 9:50 AM
We’ll regroup and roll out together for the final stretch to Starved Rock.
Lunch
Lunch is optional and up to each participant. After arriving at Starved Rock around 11:30 AM, you’re welcome to choose where and when you’d like to eat.
Here are three nearby recommendations to consider:
• Starved Rock Lodge Restaurant: Rustic setting and conveniently located inside the park
• Bruce & Ollie’s: Casual sandwiches, soups and deli fare in nearby Utica
• Uptown Grill: A nicer lunch option in downtown La Salle
If you’d like to dine at one of these restaurants, please make your own reservation if required. October weekends can be busy, so we recommend planning ahead.
After lunch, you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the park, take a hike, explore the trails, or head home whenever it suits you.
