Can-Am Challenge Club Race at CTMP (Mosport)

This year we're continuing the cross-border competition with the BMW Club Racing Canadian American Challenge. The Can-Am Challenge is a homage to the historic Can-Am series that spanned the Canadian and United States border from 1966-1974. Our 2025 Can-Am Challenge consists of five races
- May 15-17 - Watkins Glen
- June 1-2 - NJMP – Thunderbolt
- June 27-28 - CTMP
- Aug 1-2 - NJMP – Lightning
- Sept 25-27 - Watkins Glen
A team-based points scheme will determine the winner and the glorious Can-Am trophy will be presented for the country that wins the challenge! Last year, the Americans took the trophy home with them again. Let's bring the trophy home to Canada in 2025! Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, opened in 1961 is a former Formula One Canadian Grand Prix venue and today hosts the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. It’s an extraordinarily challenging, 2.5 mile, 10-turn roller-coaster ride!
This year we are collaborating with CASC-OR and running on the same weekend as one of their regional race events. The expected schedule is
- Saturday: practice, qualify, two sprints
- Sunday: warm-up and sprint
With the expectation to be done by noon on Sunday.
Because it is only a two day event, registration cost has been reduced to $760 CAD. Show your support by signing up soon! Your credit card will only be charged on the weekend of the event, and only if you attend and complete at least one lap on the track, so there is no risk.

For those BMW CCA Club Racers who also race in CASC-OR regional events, CASC-OR is offering a discounted entry to their races if you register to race with BMW CCA. Please contact Allan Lewis (registrar@trilliumbmwclub.ca) to take advantage of the discount.
Event requirements
You must have a BMW CCA Club Racing license to take part in this event. If your license needs to be renewed at the time you register for this event, you will not be allowed to register and must process your license renewal beforehand.
